So have fun together and create different imaginative paintings - practice makes perfect for both of you! It's not a matter of always having a perfect result when you paint children's faces. There is a lot that can happen along the way. Let the child look at himself in the mirror between turns, and to practice closing his eyes and looking up when you approach with the brush close to his eyes. Let the child choose the colors themselves and preferably also an inspiration picture, so that you do the project together. Take time for toilet breaks and feel free to take out a straw so that if you have painted something near the mouth and the child wants to drink, he can easily do so without everything you painted being gone. Start by sketching out with a pencil roughly what you want to paint and then you get started and play with colors. Practice, practice, practice and do different looks and finish with a cool little photo shoot, what a nice memory for the photo collection!
The most important thing is to have fun and make it a fun time. The children are usually happy about the smallest thing, and the demands on yourself are probably higher than what is necessary.
