Group 2 has finished their creative challenge and we are excited to present to you their final photos of the character created. The theme for their challenge was to create a mischievous, crafty little squirrel in clay. A squirrel with magical abilities that lives in the deep dark forests of Helsinglight. When we have presented the final work by every creative challenger/contestant in group 2 we will announce the winner of the group that will advance and compete in the finals later on.
The mischievous, crafty little squirrel “Hielm” by Katarina Petersson
Hielm
Hielm, the keeper of the forest and protector of the fir trees. He was created by Lilith to be her right hand and help her to bring order in nature.
His body is strong and you recognize him by his long pointed ears and a big fir cone like tail. One of his greatest power is singing and his magical voice and accurate pitch will take over your mind and leave you in the state of complete peace and satisfaction. He also have the power to make you a part of the wild by turn you into a fir cone, that by time will grow to a tree and be one with nature.
This little patron is very swift and quite unobtrusive. He can emerge from nowhere and also disappear in a blink of an eye by hiding in the ground. So if you see a fir cone laying in an odd place, it’s most likely Hielm just hiding.
Hielm roams the paths of the forests and mountains. If you’re lucky you can se him plunge into the wilderness when he plays with the other wildlife and creatures of nature. This little rascal is not afraid to be itself and let its goofy side show, but the little creature is pretty hot-headed and sometimes handle problems by creating some mischiefs. Have you ever wandered in the woods and got a fir cone dropped on your head, tripped on something that’s not there or just have the feeling of being observed? That’s probably Hielm, watching your steps.

On the paths of forests and mountains so high, a creature you’ll find where the fir cones lie.
Hielm will show up for those who’s aware,
and the nature and wildlife always take care.
It doesn’t matter if your a peasant or a king,
he leaves you in awe of goodness when he starts to sings.
But if you don’t respect the nature my child, he will make you a part of the wild.
Being able to take part in this competition was incredibly exciting and it had me bring out my creativity to the fullest.
It’s a really fun challenge all the way through. From the time the package arrived, the day we found out about our task to sculpting the finishing piece.
It really sets your imagination and creativity going. To learn in 10 days a new way of expression, to understand the capacity of the clay and to achieve a final result. It‘s a creative journey to the fullest, and I love it!"
