We’re also delighted to see what you create with the products we offer, from FX makeup to special-effects lenses and so much more.
A big thank-you as well to everyone we’ve met at fairs and enjoyed great conversations with — those encounters give us energy that lasts. And thank you to all of you who have taken our courses and workshops; there is always something special about letting creativity unfold together.
We also want to thank all our collaborators and clients — those of you who have hired us for FX makeup for events or theatre, or invited us to your venues to run creative FX Makeup workshops.
As I’m writing this, Christmas is just around the corner and there are only a few days left until Christmas Eve. If you’re still looking for a creative gift or need a truly great last minute option, we’d like to recommend gift cards from our webshop. They make an excellent Christmas present as well as a birthday gift, and the recipient can choose exactly the products that suit them best. It could be materials, tools, or something they save for a bigger project later on, maybe even a course?
We have a lot planned for 2026 and will soon announce more on-site courses. Right now, spots are being booked for our in-demand 10-day silicone mask course, which will be held from June 4 to June 14, 2026. A major piece of news for 2026 is that we are bringing Midwinterglow back to life. We hosted Midwinterglow for five years, from 2012 to 2016, and we are thrilled to finally announce that this magical day is returning. We will be organizing the event together with Senza Vib Art and Music, and while the location is still under wraps for now, it will take place in Nordanstig Municipality. Keep an eye out and follow us at Midwinterglöd for updates and information.
Midwinterglow is our alternative Christmas market featuring Lucia from folklore, fire shows, fantastical creatures, cosplay, and much more. Midwinterglow returns on December 12, 2026, and we hope you will join us for this special day. You can read more about our event and winter festival at midvinterglod.se, and you can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
We also want to send a special invitation to everyone in the cosplay community, and to anyone who loves costumes, characters, and imagination. Check out Midwinterglow and come visit us then. We would be absolutely delighted if more people came in character as a magical winter creature, a figure from folklore or mythology, or a winter being of your own creation.
