Description
KM240 is a white/beige stoneware clay without firesand, making it ideal for both throwing and sculpting. Firesand, which is fired and crushed clay, typically enhances the thermal stability and crack resistance of the clay body during firing. Despite the absence of firesand, KM240 is designed to be smooth and easy to work with. Suitable for firing at temperatures between 1020-1150°C, this clay is an excellent choice for mold-making processes, sculpting figures, or creating masks.
KM240 is available in packages of approximately 10 kg. As the clay dries quickly, providing less time for working, we recommend regularly moistening the clay with a spray bottle. However, use water sparingly to avoid over-wetting.
