Handcrafted latex prosthetics made from natural rubber – durable, reusable, and perfect for creative projects such as LARP, cosplay, theater, costume parties, Halloween, body painting, and more. Versatile and adaptable, they are pre-colored in a light skin tone but can easily be blended to match any complexion. Featuring fine details and high quality, they come in a stylish storage box, making it easy to keep your prosthetics for future use.

The prosthetics can be painted and blended with alcohol-based FX makeup or Rubber Mask Grease Paint for a natural look that adheres well to latex. If you plan to use other types of makeup, such as regular cream makeup, we recommend priming with a product like Mehron’s Castor Sealer, specifically designed for latex accessories.

To attach the prosthetics, we recommend skin-safe adhesives like Mastix Spirit Gum or Pros-Aide. For high temperatures or intense movements, Kryolan’s Silicone Adhesive Neo Regular Bond is the best choice (coming soon to our store).

For seamless transitions and to smooth out thicker edges, you can use Artex, Pros-Aide, or liquid latex for a flawless finish.

    Application

        1. Positioning
Remove the latex prosthetic from its packaging and place it on your desired area to assess the fit of the edges. You can lightly outline the edges with a makeup pencil to guide where the adhesive will go.

        2. Applying Adhesive
Apply a small amount of Grimas Mastix Extra or Kryolan Mastix along the inner edge of the prosthetic and let it dry for about 15 seconds. Also, apply a thin layer of adhesive on your skin where the prosthetic will be attached. Let it dry for about 15 seconds.

        3. Attaching the Prosthetic
Carefully place the prosthetic back onto your skin. Use a fine-toothed comb to hold the edges in place and ensure proper alignment. Press the edges down firmly using your fingers or a tool like a spatula to secure them.

        4. Smoothing the Edges
To achieve a seamless transition between the prosthetic and your skin, apply additional latex, Pros-Aide, or lash glue to the edges. Use a makeup sponge to dab the product along the transition area. Dry with a hairdryer until the product becomes transparent. Repeat this step until the edges are smooth and the result is satisfactory.

        5. Setting the Prosthetic
Apply a light dusting of translucent powder, such as Grimas Transparent Powder, to set the adhesive. Gently remove any excess powder.

        6. Blending with Makeup
Blend the prosthetic with your skin tone using makeup to ensure it matches seamlessly with the rest of your complexion.

Now your prosthetic is ready for your creative transformation!

    Removal

        1. Removing Adhesive and Makeup
Use a cotton swab soaked in Grimas Mastix Remover to gently remove the adhesive and makeup residues.

        2. Cleansing the Skin
Massage your skin with Grimas Multi Remover or Cleansing Cream. Wipe off the product with a tissue. Then clean your skin with a product like Grimas Cleansing Lotion to ensure it's fresh and residue-free.

        3. Cleaning the Latex Prosthetic
Wash the latex prosthetic with water and unscented soap.

        4. Preserving the Prosthetic
Once the prosthetic is dry, dust it lightly with translucent powder, such as Grimas Transparent Powder, to maintain its texture and flexibility.

Your prosthetic is now ready for storage and reuse!

        Storage
    • Store your prosthetics in a cool, dry, and dark place, preferably in the included metal box. With proper handling and care, the prosthetics can be reused multiple times. Treat them gently to ensure long-lasting performance.
